We left on Monday about noon and got into Pensacola, Florida about 4 pm. We picked up our rental car and drove to our hotel, The Lodge at Gulf State Park Gulf Shores, Alabama. We got there just in time for dinner at the hotel with the rest of the attendees. After dinner we took a drive into downtown Gulf Shores to visit LuLu’s Entertainment Complex.
On Tuesday we went to see the Blue Angels perform. They hold weekly practice at there home base of Pensacola before heading out to a weekend performance in other parts of the country. We also toured the Aviation Museum on the Air Station. We went into downtown Pensacola for lunch at the Fish House Restaurant. Afterwards we went to Charles and Carolyn’s for hors d’oeuvres, drinks and conversation. In the evening there was a great sunset at our hotel.

On Wednesday Florence and I did more sightseeing in Pensacola in the morning. The group met for an early dinner at the Cobalt Restaurant in Orange Beach.
After dinner we headed over to the Flora-Bama complex for some drinks and music.
We had a farewell breakfast at the hotel before travelling to the airport.
